Taraweeh Ki Dua

The month of Ramadan is the most blessed and the month of earning the most good deeds in the Islamic months. Allah greatly increases the reward of the good deeds done in this month, and one of these good deeds is Namaz-Taraweeh. Here we will look at the following:

  • Virtues of Taraweeh Prayers
  • It is afzal to read Taraweeh prayers in Jamaaat
  • namaz taraweeh eight rak’ahs

Virtues of Taraweeh prayers

Taraweeh, Tahajjud and Qayamul Lail are three names of the same prayer. In the months other than Ramadan, this prayer is called Tahajjud prayer. Which the Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam used to read always.

It is afzal to read Taraweeh Jamaat prayers

It is permissible to offer Taraweeh prayers in both ways, i.e. late at night, at home and in the mosque. But performing Bajmaat in the Masjid is more afzal and reward.

namaz taraweeh eight rak’ahs

Taraweeh from the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is proved to be only three Witrs with eleven Rak’ats. Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam He never performed twenty-three rakats of Taraweeh with Witr, the evidence of which is present in Sahih Bukhari and other Qutub Ahadith.

Taraweeh Ki Dua

And Yahya bin Baqir narrated to us, he said that Laith bin Saad narrated to us, Aqeel narrated to him, Ibn Shahab narrated to him, Urwa narrated to him and Aisha narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah said: Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, once visited the mosque in the middle of the night (of Ramadan) and offered the Taraweeh prayer there. Some companions also joined him in prayer. When morning came, they discussed it. So, on the second night, people gathered even more than before and prayed with him. On the second morning there was more talk and on the third night even more people gathered. He prayed (that night too) and people followed him. On the fourth night, it was known that there was no room left for those who came to pray in the mosque. (But that night you did not recover) but came out for the morning prayer. When he finished the prayer, he turned towards the people and said after the martyrdom. But later! I was aware of your gathering here, but I was afraid that this prayer would not be made obligatory on you and then you would be unable to perform it, so when the Prophet (PBUH) died, this was The status quo remained.

Narrated ‘Urwa: That he was informed by `Aisha, “Allah’s Apostle went out in the middle of the night and prayed in the mosque and some men prayed behind him. In the morning, the people spoke about it and then a large number of them gathered and prayed behind him (on the second night). In the next morning the people again talked about it and on the third night the mosque was full with a large number of people. Allah’s Apostle came out and the people prayed behind him. On the fourth night the Mosque was overwhelmed with people and could not accommodate them, but the Prophet came out (only) for the morning prayer. When the morning prayer was finished he recited Tashah-hud and (addressing the people) said, “Amma ba’du, your presence was not hidden from me but I was afraid lest the night prayer (Qiyam) should be enjoined on you and you might not be able to carry it on.” So, Allah’s Apostle died and the situation remained like that (i.e. people prayed individually). “
